This program is designed to provide awareness on the identification, containment, and clean-up of spills, including reporting requirements. The course will cover:
- Requirements under the Safety Act and Regulations
- Other related health and safety legislation
- Risk assessment and spill response planning
- Spill response equipment
- Five steps to an effective response
- Reporting and seeking assistance

Program Duration:
4 hours – may include practical demonstrations

Training Is Valid For:
Recommended refresher training every 3 years
Materials Provided:
Course materials and participant workbooks.
Certificate Issued:
Upon completion, students will be issued a certificate and wallet card showing proof of their training.

Because of the distance between communities, most of our training has to be planned in advance. To keep the costing down for businesses, we try to get multiple business together to do the training, thus helping drive down the costing.
